TRIBAL CLERK – Curyung Tribe/Dillingham OBJECTIVE: To provide general administrative and clerical support to assist with the even flow of Tribal office operations. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to provide the Essential Job Results stated in the detailed job description. Please ask for a copy. Job knowledge / documentation required: High school diploma / GED. Preferred: Experience with computers; Familiarity with local area, people, and culture. General description of duties: Establishes effective working relationships and communicating effectively with Tribal officials, members and public in a professional manner; Works flexible hours as necessary for Tribal business. Uses excellent communication skills including telephone, person to person, and written communications. Works with a minimum of errors and performs tasks with minimum of supervision. Operates basic office business machines, i.e., fax, calculating, copying, and multi-line phones. Applies basic computer skills including developing skills in Word / Excel. Handles a variety of clerical tasks including but not limited to typing, filing, receptionist, data collection, mail pick up and distribution. Receiving and distributing incoming calls to appropriate people in a professional manner. Assisting with monthly and annual meeting preparations and follow up.
