477 Caseworker I-II, Eligibility OBJECTIVE: Focusing on eligibility, provides eligibility determinations for all Bristol Bay residents applications under the Workforce Development (WFD) program, including helping clients get access to all services allowable under Federal and State regulations which support finding employment and becoming self-sufficient. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must demonstrate their ability to accomplish the Essential Job Results stated below. Job knowledge / documentation absolutely required: Education: High School Graduate or GED required. Experience: one year of office experience. At least one year of counseling or intake experience preferably in a human service area. Experience in providing services in rural and remote Alaska. Preferred experience in Public Assistance programs. Computer skills. Keyboard, MS programs, e-mail/internet. Ability to learn data entry program for case management. License / Certification: Current valid Alaska Driver’s License and liability insurance. Background clearance check including fingerprints. A completed background check and determination that the applicant meets the eligibility criteria of the Alaska Barrier Crimes Act are prerequisites to hiring.
