Eligibility  Technician; Head Start & Child Care Services          OBJECTIVE:   Act as point of contact for processing of enrollment applications for Head Start and Child Care programs, including eligibility screening for program services and financial aid.  QUALIFICATIONS:  Candidates must demonstrate their ability to accomplish the Essential Job Results stated below.   Job knowledge / documentation required: MinimumHigh school diploma or equivalent. Prefer Associates degree in Accounting or Finance or two years progressive experience in similar work.   Must be available during busy enrollment periods including summer.  Must have knowledge of computers, Microsoft Excel, accounting software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics GP). Able to process paperwork in an organized and efficient manner, meet established deadlines, and independently accomplish multiple complex requests within timelines. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the Alaska Barrier Crimes regulations as a prerequisite to hiring; background clearance check including fingerprints.
