Administrative Support II; Facilities Division

OBJECTIVE:  Provide administrative assistance to ensure supplies are readily available, facilities and maintenance records are kept current and organized so accurate information can be retrieved quickly and reliably; and participate on the Admin Support team to ensure seamless reception coverage and successful meeting / event preparation.  QUALIFICATIONS:  Demonstrated ability to accomplish the Essential Job Results stated below.  Job knowledge / documentation required:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Two years office experience. Background Check required, but not funded by H&SS. Will have regular contact with and/or control over minors and dependent adults.  Demonstrated interest in learning Administrative Support professional practices, facilities and janitorial practices, and their application in the day to day working environment.  Proficiency using computer data base programs and word processing.   Valid Alaska Driver’s License and eligible for BBNA driver’s insurance.  Familiarity with the Bristol Bay area, people, and cultures.  Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail, and organize and perform a complex variety of tasks in an efficient manner.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees, public and private officials, villages, and general public.   Complete achievement of certain of the above specifications may not be required if, in the opinion of BBNA a particular candidate possesses significant offsetting characteristics, such as past accomplishments, experience, education, or estimate of future potential.WAGE:  $30,172/yr – $36,414/yr   (15.47hr – 18.67hr) DOE REPORTS TO:  Facilities Manager DUTY STATION:  Dillingham, Samuelson Bldg  CLOSES: Open until filled.
