Personnel Manager

OBJECTIVE: Under general supervision of the Director of Human Resources, responsible for managing personnel functions such as recruitment, coordinating and leading the interview process, on-boarding and orientation, bringing forward recommendations for hire; tracking and routing personnel documents, while assuring continuity and compliance with agency policy/procedures. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must demonstrate their ability to accomplish the Essential Job Results stated below.  Important assets: Formal education/work experience in a related field. Experience with interview and hiring process. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with recruitment platforms. Familiarity with State and Federal Labor laws. Supervisory experience. Attendance at Personnel Law Update and other related trainings. Ability to interpret personnel policies and procedures and apply them in the day to day working environment. Familiarity with the Bristol Bay area, people, and cultures. 

Demonstrated abilities: Work independently with critical attention to detail; organize and perform a complex variety of tasks within strict deadlines. Excellent written & verbal communication, along with interpersonal skills. The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, agency and Tribal officials, and general public.

Computer skills: Excel, MS Word. Experience with, or ability to learn, MIP Finance, HR Management software, and company resource systems, Confluence & Jira. Complete achievement of the above specifications may not be required if, in the opinion of BBNA, a particular candidate possesses significant offsetting characteristics. Such as past accomplishments, experience, education, or estimate of future potential.

WAGE:  DOE $42,666 – $71,449/yr = $ 21.88 -36.64/hr
