Child Care Assistance for Parent/Guardian

BBNA Child Care Assistance eligibility is based on family size and family’s gross income. A sliding fee scale will be use and is based on the Federal Income Poverty Guidelines. Assistance can be provided for tribally enrolled Alaska Native or American Indian youth under the age of 13.

BBNA cannot provide Child Care Assistance if there is anyone living in the child’s home who is 18 years or older, capable of caring for children, and is not working, attending school, or in training.

All children must be current with immunizations.

Parent/Guardian must apply for services using the WFD Application and Child Care Assistance Addendum. Parent’s must provide current proof of income, and identify their Child Care Provider.

  • BBNA has 30 days to determine eligibility upon receiving a completed application.
  • We cannot determine eligibility until we have a complete application including all required documents.
  • A completed application does not automatically mean a client is eligible for childcare assistance.

Childcare is approved from the date we receive all the necessary documents to determine your case; no childcare is approved before that date. Parents/Guardians are responsible for all of childcare expenses unless otherwise notified by BBNA.
