CCDF Mission:
“The Child Care Assistance Program serves individuals and families by increasing the availability, affordability and quality of child care in the Bristol Bay Region.”

Child Care Assistance – Parent

Child care services are income based within a sliding fee scale. Everyone in the home at least 18 years of age or older, must be working, in an educational or training program, or engaging in subsistence activities. Child care can be provided for tribally enrolled Alaska Native or American Indian descendant youth up to the age of 12. All children must be current with their immunizations.

BBNA WFD has 30 days to determine eligibility upon receiving a completed application.
We cannot determine eligibility until we have a completed application with all required documents on file.
A complete application does not automatically mean a client is eligible for child care assistance.
PARENTS are responsible for all child care expenses unless otherwise notified by BBNA.
Child care is approved from the date we receive all necessary documents to determine eligibility; no child care is approved before that date.

BBNA will provide the parent and provider notification of the maximum number of approved hours for payment per day, anything over this is the payment responsibility of the parent.
