Located in Southwest Alaska situated 21 miles northwesterly of the village of Koliganek on the left bank of the Nuyakuk River within Township 3 South, Range 49 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska, USS 7976. The land, which is rolling tundra rising approximately 40 feet above the ordinary high water line of the Nuyakuk River, is vegetated with berry plants interspersed with spruce, cottonwood, and birch. The soil profile consists of fibrous organics overlying sand and silt with pockets of gravel and discontinuous permafrost. There are no utilities or roads.
