Vaccine supply remains limited, meaning we are not able to vaccinate everyone at this time. More appointments will be added as they are available, with many being added on Thursday. Those eligible to get vaccinated in Alaska now include people who are: Age 55 or above Essential workers Considered “high risk” or “might be high risk” for severe COVID-19 illness by the CDC or their provider Living in multigenerational housing Living or working in congregate settings Assisting someone who is 65 years or above to a vaccine appointment Living in communities with limited plumbing You may also review criteria in full at http://covidvax.alaska.gov or call 1-907-646-3322 to learn more and find a vaccine provider or appointment near you. Note: Moderna’s vaccine and Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine are authorized for ages 18 and up, and Pfizer’s vaccine is authorized for people ages 16 and up. Vaccine managed by the Alaska Tribal Health System, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Defense may have different eligibility criteria.
