VPSO Patch Design Contest Terms
Uploading Designs
When uploading a design to BBNA’s patch design contest, you understand and agree to the following terms:
- I affirm that I have ownership of the design and the ability to grant sharing rights to BBNA by uploading.
- BBNA gains ownership of any submission materials selected as the winner of a photo or design contest.
- By uploading the photo, I grant BBNA permission to reuse the design for lawful work-related publications. Work-related publications include (but are not limited to) publications on the internet, magazines, journals, books, articles, etc.
- I understand that uploading a design is not a guarantee that BBNA will include the design in its photo libraries.
- BBNA will compensate the creator of the winning photo or design as provided in the terms of the contest.
- I agree to contact BBNA (907-842-5257, contact@bbna.com, the Administrative Services Director, Media Services Specialist, or Network Administrator) if I would like to remove a previously provided design from BBNA’s patch design contest.
- I understand that requesting to remove a previously provided photo may remove that photo from the contest and draft publications, but will not remove the photo from any already created publications.
- By uploading, I waive my right to any royalty or other compensation associated with BBNA’s use of the designs I upload to BBNA’s photo library.
- I understand that any photo tags associated with an image may be automatically generated, and may not accurately reflect the contents of the image. Photo tags are visible to BBNA employees for file search purposes only and are not utilized in publications.
Photo Use
When uploading to BBNA’s patch design contest, you understand and agree to these terms:
- Authorized use of BBNA’s designs is restricted to BBNA employees for work purposes and publications only.
- Access to BBNA’s photos is a privilege that can be revoked at any time.
- I agree to notify BBNA’s Administrative Services Director if I become aware of any photo in BBNA’s photo library that might contain illegal content, may not be work appropriate, may cause offense, or may place BBNA at risk.
- I understand that any photo tags associated with an image may be automatically generated, and may not accurately reflect the contents of the image. Photo tags are visible to BBNA employees for file search purposes only and are not directly utilized in publications.
